The RNLAF is talking with the SweAFHF, but it depends on the available budget. Priority are ex RNLAF aircraft.

Last thing I heard, the MoD does mind. (And I can imagine local authorities do to, given the fact it ran out of hand outside the base during arrivals some years ago.)

Does anyone know if there will be a special painted F-16 on the Open Days because of 100 Years RNLAF celebaration?
You should expect this, according to the "normal" way of acting. However, in 2013 things are not always going how it used to be in the RNLAF according to the budget cuts...

Yes, but I do hope that just painting a tail in special colours should still be possible???
That's what still happens within the squadron anniversaries.

I've seen pics of Q-17 with some remarks to this jubilee, and there was talk some time/years ago J-015 would also have some changes to its colourscheme to reflect this.

That's what still happens within the squadron anniversaries.
In fact the J-248, the one that is normally standing at the Luchtmacht recruiting stand, has a small special jubilee 'painting' on its tail.
You would indeed expect a special tail painting like you mention, but if so, they might keep it as surprise for the time being...let's wait and see (or not)... :wink:

According to SGV, most likely there will be a special painting for the jubilee. Of course further details are not given yet... :wink:
