St Petersburg Pushkin air base

The base is since many years a research base for radar, EW, elint, sigint etc.

Signs of change or transfer on base.

South West part (FSB).
Mi-8 (4).
Mi-8/24 (12). New army unit. May be part of Pribylovo helicopters.

Central part.
Su-25 (4) deleted. Former temporary based for Baltic conflict?

West part. Helipad.
Mi-8 (7). Border Guard?
Former REB helicopters not present?

West Part. (MIR radar plant). With large tarmac.
Hangar equipment placed outside. Friday cleaning or movement?
Il-18. (Hangar queen?).
An-24. (Hangar queen?).
Mi-8 (3) without rotors.
Tu-134Sh with large nose. (Tu-160?).
Il-38.

MIR parking pads (10).
Tu-134UBL with large nose. (Su-34?). Later two Su-24.
Su-27.
Il-18D. Former research aircraft?
Il-20M. Former research aircraft?
Su-24.
Su-27.
Il-18 or 20.

East part. 20 ARZ.
Su-27. Long residents. A old Yak-28.
Il-20 or 22.
Su-24 (6) some in parts.
Il-20/22 (5).
Su-24 (4).
Tu-134 long nose.
Su-24 (4) some in parts.
Su-27 (3).

Lots of fins and wings on ground from Su-24.

I guess based on various publicated pics and reports; I have noticed the same changes and am living in Holland.

I am in the wikimapia mood just now. Only. I have a lot of other information about Pushkin, bit I don´t use in this case. Were is also a forum connection to the map. In this case I don´t either use it.

But I use it for many others maps.

Wikimapia is in many times accurate, but allways check the information.

Were is discussions to move the Pushkins workshops. I understand that some personal are concerned.
