Is there anyone who can confirm that AN-9, the first Italian build RNLAF F-35 and future F-009, already made its first flight last month (July)?

I read something about it a few weeks ago but cannot find this item anymore.

Than the series would run BF-71 to BF-88 (18 aircraft of the original LRIP 11).
Strange if they would add 4 out of 6 CAP aircraft in that series, up to BF-92, right?
You're absolutely right. We'll find out in the near future I suppose.

Greets,
Hi Bjorn,

From all the information coming in regarding the total number of F-35s for LRIP-11, I noted:

24 F-35B (Marines)
12 F-35C (USN)
2 F-35C (USMC)
1 F-35B (UK)

From F-35.com:

LRIP 11 Aircraft Costs (including jet, engine and fee) are:

102 F-35As CTOL - $89.2 million (5.4% reduction from Lot 10)
25 F-35Bs STOVL - $115.5 million (5.7% reduction from Lot 10)
14 F-35Cs CV - $107.7 million (11.1% reduction from Lot 10)
https://www.f35.com/about/cost

25 F-35B corresponds with 24 USMC plus BK-18 for the RAF. I noted BL-03 as Lot-12, not for LRIP-11.

The 14 F-35C matches the 12 USN plus 2 USMC.

I think BK-18 is 169606, the first aircraft of LRIP 11 since that order was clear from the start.
F-35C 169640 is the last buno of LRIP 11, 169641 is a F/A-18E.

Edit: we just don’t know and have to wait.....

Indeed. Because the previous list only gives a possible answer to the F-35B BuNo. But not for the F-35C and also not for the F-35A.
So we'll see the coming months.

First F-35 for Leeuwarden lands October 31
This is confirmed by a spokeswoman for the Royal Netherlands Air Force on request.

The F-009 is expected to land at Leeuwarden Air Base on 31 October.
The F-010 will be added later this year. The Air Force could not yet say when that will be exactly.

From a reliable source, next delivery to RNoAF (presumably AM-20/21/22) will take place in mid-October.
