This week: Russ Strat. AF Tu-95MS's said to have been active again in launching weapons against Ukr. (the Kasp Sea aera being mentioned (again)). Which are said to have been largely intercepted by Ukr. Air Defence
On their part. the Russ. AF Air base Engels is said to have received incoming weapon(s) (on the 20th). Which may have been intercepted by Russ Air Defence. No reports yet regarding damage ....if any. *)
Earlier on, Domodedovo airport, seems to have been targeted also, sustaining a wee minor damage

It is a peace loss, unless new data emerges stating otherwise The Investigation into the cause is ongoing.
to date, Ukr. has not claimed that a/c.

No statement found yet about the lauch platforms *1), but Ukr said it today had to deal with more incoming (aerial / air launched) Russian weapons feeling the power and might of Russia's Armed forces, as far from all of these could be incepted by their A/D.
These types were mentioned (may be non-exhaustive listing):
>63 Shahed UAVs
>12 Iskander-M ballistic missiles
>40 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles
>5 Kh-22 cruise missiles
as well as 7 "hypersonic" ?Kh-47 M2 (Kinzhal) air lauched ballistic (some say: 'dumb' (?)) missiles

*1) for which Mig-31 and Tu-95's may have been used, though other types may have been used, like the awesame side-by-side Su-34 f/b.

maybe, but
Friday late afternoon, 29th March, still no claim by Ukraine. (They are normally quite fast claiming whenever they are scoring). So, was it just a mid-flight incident / accident?
a/c type involded said to be a Russ. Su-35. Imagery spread shows one jet going down engulfed in flames, pilot said to have bailed out.

Several sources reporting of large Ukrainan drone attack on Morozovsk air base, with at least 6 combat aircraft destroyed.
Several sources also show videos of the attack.

Morozovsk air base is the largest Russian air base in area with large parking places for aircraft and 26 protected places.

Before the war 3 squadrones with Su-34 Fullback was base here, and declined after the start of the war to 1 squadron of 12 Su-34.

Now is 24 Su-34, 12 Su-35 and 12 Su-30SM based here, rotating between different air bases.

On base are also several helicopters and transport aircraft.

The base are much involved in support of the Ukraina war.

Also claimed to have destroyed 2 Su-25 at Yeysk, and damaged 3 Ty-95 at Engels-2 airbase.

Attacks have been confirmed, damage to aircraft are claimed by Ukraine, but no evidence (yet?)

Denys Davidov made another video about the drone attacks.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2KifA3mJS0
You can also find the right link from yesterday.

I made the wrong link last time. I send you a link of another area of my interests.

Planet Labes made a overrun of Morozovsk air base the day before the attack with satellites.
On base were 29 combat aircraft Su-30SM, Su-34 and Su-35.
The aircraft operate together with special Mi-8MTP and several ground electronic vehicles in a electronic warfare environment.
The Russian combat aircraft are much rotated of attacks over Ukraine and rotate to other airbases.

This is the right 1st link to Denys Davidov site.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5m2F2-cpvQ&t=344s

It shows that the drone attack were more substantial than discovered in other sources.

A Tu-22M3 have crashed in the Stavropol area after a bomber mission in Ukraine.

https://www.msn.com/sv-se/nyheter/utrik ... r-AA1nhncj

Three crew are saved with parachute. Another crew are missing and search are ongoing.

With a mission in Stavropol area is nearest bomber base Mozdok!

Is Mozdok used as a base of the Ukarainan war?
