My helicopters with 39 VP at Dzhankoj air base, Crimea end of 2021 before the Ukrainan war.

On base were around 45 helicopters the same time on Satellite maps.
May be other units were collected at base before the war as border units helicopters and special forces heibopters read Mi-8 versions.

Mentioned was a Su-24, and confirmed by Russian Fighterbomber channel. Both crew died

After a considerable time of 'silence' several Russian AF Tu-95MS are said to have fired long range weapons from the Engels area against Ukraine.

Ukraine claims succesfully shooting down THREE two-seat Su-34 twin jet fighter-bombers over the Херсон / Kherson / Cherson region, adding it has been some time that they have scored hits on that type of a/c.
(come to think of it, They did not shoot many russian a/c at all during the past weeks if not months, but instead they
shot a great many Shahed type flying DRONE-BOMBS from the skies.

Some 150(+) Su-34 may have been delivered to the Russian air force over the past decade.

Today is a very low rate production of Su-34.

The Russ. AF lost another TWO (unspecified) aircraft according to Ukraine. That's minus 5 aircraft in just a few days.
remarkable, it was pretty long kinda silent with no Russ a/c losses claimed. It seems a christmas air offensive is on, or: the Ukr. AA defence works much better.

In downing those three Su-34 earlier on, both human remains and survivors were found,

The Ukr AF claims to have stricken and taken out yet another Russian landing ship called "Novochekask" near Feodosia, where on land other objects were also struck during this retaliatory air attack using cruise missiles.
If memory serves me right: then this is the second russo landing ship hit in the past few months alone and the 3rd such one struck and / or sunk since hostilities began.
