Hit Su-25 back to base.

Were is many examples of hit aircraft, and the pilot could be happy to be back to base.

I have earlier mentioned Tu-22M3 made this sorties. I have also mentioned Tu-95 sorties.

They go close to the border and release the missiles of different types.

Shaykovka and Ryazan Dyagilevo must also be involved (Tu-22M3 and Tu-95).

I suppose soon are the whole Russian Air Forces involved.

Debrise from a frgamentated Su-34 must comes from a Chelyabinsk Shagol Su-34. Operating from Lida?

Operating over Black Sea are both Tu-160 and Tu-95.

Funny, they blur the RF and Bort numbers, but the c/n is visible everywhere. So should be RF-90965 / 25508108048 out of action for the time being.

Think Hammero can fill us in on who & what is operating from that airbase. :

'new': The Antonav aircraft plant suffering from attacks, not just the airfield, but the plant buildings in particular. (with deaths reported)
Engels Air Base, near Saratov is of course home to Russia's Big Bombers like Tu-95 and Tu-160's. (Ukraine once had inherited a fleet of Tu-160's, but scrapped them in difficult economic times (and did so with foreign backing))

Another Russian plane shot down by the Ukrainians. You can see it, but only shortly and in a distance. No idea what it is, when it happened and if this particular downing has been claimed before.

I noticed the same indeed. Rather short sighted of the Russians (like many other actions during this war).
A miracle this jet made it home though, with that damage. Shows again the strength of Russian aircraft in general.

Another blow to Russians Aviation capacity. A Ukrainian (artillery?) strike on a helicopter base in Kherson blew up at least 4 helicopters and damages another 3 or so. With footage....

https://twitter.com/UAWeapons/status/15 ... 10/photo/3

According to Oryx they caught15 helicopters....

Plus some indication of the attack a week ago on Kherson, with the 30 choppers claimed. Couple of wrecks visible on the dispersals.

High resolution image of the Kherson base after the second attack. At least 3 helicopters destroyed in the latest attack and 6 destroyed helicopters can be seen on the other side in the dispersals, plus an additional 3 that still seem to be intact but might well be full of holes from shrapnell.
