Polish M-346 deliveries completed

Post by Grappa01 »

After a delay of one day due to storm over Poland, the final two M-346 "Bielik" were delivered to Deblin on 30 October. With a interval of five minutes, M-346 7701 and 7708 took off from Venegono around 14:30 for a one hour thirty minute direct ferry flight to Deblin. Whereas the first five M-346 had to make a technical stop in Italy (two at Rivolto, three at Trieste), the last three M-346 were equipped with two exernal tanks making a direct flight to Poland possible. The first two M-346s delivered in November last year (7702 and 7703) will not return to Venegono but will be modified in Deblin instead. The next phase will be the acceptance process which has already started. The first M-346 flights training students will start next year.
