Ukrainan reconnaissance plane hit over eastern city of Slavyansk.

Small arms fire has forced a Ukrainan military aircraft to make an emergency landing. The reconnaissance plane, an An-30, was flying over eastern city of Slovyansk, where pro-Russian separatists have taken control. (text after information source).

Ukraines defence minister confirmed on Tuseday that an military Antonov An-30 reconnaissance plane had been shot and damaged while flying over the city of Slavyansk. No one was injured in the incident.

Thanks to the professional actions, military pilots managed to land at the airfield without consequences, according to a defence ministary statement. After a through examination and diagnosis, aircraft combat capability was full restored.

The aircraft seems to be a An-30 sigint plane with hamps and bumps. No serial visible on showed pictures on source.

Ukraine defence forces have presented listenings from sigint on the Internet of several "incidents" with terrible consequences.

According Scramble database have Ukraine Air Force six active An-30.

Two of them should be used for "reconaissance and mapping missions".

Ukraine only has two active An-30s, which are 80 yellow and 81 yellow.
The other four are stored and have not flown for at least 6 years.

According Wikipedia is two aircraft active. According Scramble database is it six planes active. But I also belive its two. On one place is it information about a Open Skies version also.

The Open Skies aircraft is 80 yellow, which was also the aircraft involved in yesterday's incident.
