Lockheed L-1011 Tristar to make final flight...

Lockheed L-1011-100 Tristar N700TS cn 193B-1066 will be making her last flight ever in the near future. She is to be preserved by the Airline History Museum at Kansas City, Missouri, which already has Lockheed Constellation 1049 Super G (not flying currently), a DC-3 that is currently under restoration and a Martin 404.
I think N700TS c/n 193B-1066 is to be the first TriStar in a museum?

I reckon this is 'only' the final flight of this particular TriStar, and others will remain flying? Airfleets lists a couple in active state, including a coulpe of RAF-tankers/-freighters.

This plane will leave ROW on Saturday January 30, 2010 and arrive in MKC at 1330 local time. The museum has the ferry permit in hand. An article on this aircraft will appear in Airways in the near future.
