The first order announcement at Farnborough has been made:

FlyDubai, the new lowfare carrier from the UAE, has announced an order for 50 B737-800s from Boeing.
It's not yet clear if these were already booked as UFOs, or whether they are new orders.

Yorden

Rising fuel prices or not, Emirates is still not big enough. At the hand over ceremony for their first A380, Emirates signed a LOI for 30 A330s and 30 A350s. So not a firm order yet, but this will probably get in the books someday.... More info.
