Williamtown 09/03

Post by Graham »

Just arrived back in Melbourne from here, on arrival yesterday I noted a couple of F16's on the ramp opposite the terminal and was told they were AK aggressor ones that arrived on the 7th for a 2-3 week exercise.
They have yet to fly but should be active next couple of weeks if anyone is still over here....was told there was 13 in total and this was confirmed on departure today... will go through some photo's later from a grubby airline window and will have some serials but not all so this is mainly a heads up and hopefully someone will benefit.

For RAAF Williamtown this weekend:
this http://www.nswkidsinneed.org.au/raaf/
I don't know if anything will fly, but it might be a chance to get up close to some aircraft, as well as being on base too.
And cheaper than RIAT, but with less planes probably..... :
