Thanks for the report. However, there was more on the ground when we drove around the field;

F-AZTG MD.312 ex mil ID?
I guess you are referring to F-AZGE coded 12-XA? (former code system for Cambrai station flight aircraft)

c/n 158 according to http://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/F-AZGE.html

also see for ID of the aircraft at Cambrai http://www.flickr.com/photos/aviagold/7029932957/

hope this helps.

The following aircraft left Cambrai already:

3/04/2012:
81/103-LB --> Orange
86/103-LL --> Orange

11/04/2012:
85/103-LK --> Orange
88/103-KV --> Orange

note that both airframes on 11/04/2012 had special tails, but when arriving at Orange, the special markings were gone already...

27/04/2012:

departure of 2 M2000 to ???

02/05/2012:

departure of the last M2000 at Cambrai to Chateaudun
100/103-YF
122/103-YE
with TBM700 104/XJ as crewtransport plane

Unfortunatly Cambrai is empty now. Last week they already put the gateguard of his pole...

On the pics-aeronef website I see they still fly with 103 codes and insignas. I also see that 121/103-KN is flying at Orange, don't know when this one left Cambrai

Hey Wim,

Many thanks about your updates on the Mirage-scene at Cambrai!

I've seen the first pics of 121/103-KN at Orange around April, 25. I guess somewhere around that date it arrived at BA115.

It looks like Orange is crowded with Mirage 2000's by now!

Greetings, Erik

80/103-LI should be stored at Chateaudun, still in tigermeet 2011 colours
102/103-KR left in March, clean, so I think chateaudun

I'm interested in that list :wink:

Thanks for the effort

LOG Cambrai 27 June 2012:

BA103 organised for the very last time an open day for the public between 11h00 and 15h00. Entrance was only possible after receiving an invitation. It was an all static event. This could be seen in a small static display:

AT02 Alpha jet
E-144/120-AK Alpha jet
517/118-SC Mirage F-1B --> took part in rehearsal of formation
106/104-HG Rafale C
135/113-GN Rafale C --> solo display
103/103-YN Mirage 2000C (Special colours) --> took part in rehearsal of formation
105/103-LJ Mirage 2000C
108/103-LC Mirage 2000C --> took part in rehearsal of formation
109/103-YH Mirage 2000C --> took part in rehearsal of formation
After the openday some flights took place (mentioned above) as rehearsal for the disbandment event on 28 June.

further the 2 preserved aircraft were dismantled of their pole, but were in and in front of the maintenance hangar. The Sikorsky and the 2 Mirage III were broken down in pieces...

2 Rafales overflew Cambrai centre as part of a ceremony that connects Cambrai city with EC1/7 of St Dizier
118/113-IW Rafale C (Special colours)
322/113-HU Rafale B

The base will officially be closed at 31 July, but the dismantle team will be there untill summer of 2013 to move all the usefull stuff still there.

The golden coloured Cambrai M2000 is at Chateaudun since June/early July 2012 and not operated by EC 2/5.
