According to this site http://www.airfighters.com/photosearch.php?con=L0998 it should be c/n L0998 which never became operational!

I recieved the following additional info regarding the bare metal F-5:
- F-5 is a former testaircraft of arodynamic RUAG aerospace.
- It never reveived a Swiss AF serialnumber.
- On october 26th it received a new paintjob.
- Serial J-3008 has been applied (the original J-3008 was sold to the US) and it received 8 staffel markings.
- The F-5 will become a "gate guard"
