REQ serial Tornado F3 coded 'GX' april '97

In april/may 1997 I made a spottingtrip through the UK.

On 30 april 1997 I visited RAF Coningsby. (spotting from the outside)

I noted the following Tornado F3's:

56(R) squadron
ZE205/AM ZE252/AS ZE253/AC ZE255/AY ZE290/AD ZE340/AE ZE735/AL ZE736/AX ZE758/AU ZE786/AG ZE793/AI ZH553/AB ZH557/AF

29 squadron
ZE157/BY ZE256/BX ZE288/BH ZG731/BL ZG778/BG ZH554/BZ

43 squadron
ZE254/GE ......../GX

111 squadron
ZE156/HE ZE292 (111sqn mks)

unmarked
ZE258 ZE794

visiting was:
Jetstream T1 XX495/C 45 squadron

flying was:
Hurricane IIc PZ865 BoBMF

preserved were:
Buccaneer S2B XV865 and XW528

My question is about 43 squadron Tornado F3 with tailcode 'GX'. I noticed in my book that I wrote it down as ZE256/GX at first but that I corrected this one into 29 squadron Tornado F3: ZE256/BX.
Is this last one correct and if yes does anyone recall what the identity of the 43 squadron Tornado coded 'GX' was?

Hi Per,

BAR quotes ZE256 as being uncoded at Coningsby on 28 April and as BX by May 1997. I have not found a GX in that period.
