Hi

There are good views from the International terminal once you have passed through check in and passport control. The terminal is "T" shaped and you can walk most sides with large glass windows.

Spot with care - I logged the following between approx 12 noon and 13.50 pm.

Upon departure I had a view over the Biz Jet hanger area which is over on the Western side of the airport - many airliners stored over here too. 3 aircraft appeared to be dumped with parts missing

An-12 - white and blue - help please
A300 - Onur titles - help please
A300 - all white

In addition there must have been 6 or 7 other airlines parked nearby, mainly A300 and some DC9 types.

Outside this hanger was a Hansa Jet plus several biz jets and twins.

Last week I was in Turkey (Antalya) for my work. Flew with Turkish Airlines AMS-IST-AYT v.v. At Istanbul I had only 1,5 hours transfertime, so with loooooong queues for visa- and passport desks, there was little to no time to spot from the terminal. Turkish Airlines 320’s and 737’s skipped from the log. Adriatic, MyAir and Ural were parked at Turkish Technic. Stored aircraft were parked opposite of Turkish Technic at the other side of the runways.
