Tatoi, 11 April 2024

Post by r.e.hendriks »

Hi all,

We visited Tatoi in the morning of thursday 11 April 2024.
From outside the base the follow was noted.

PZL M18: 205, 201, 026, 119, 029, 030, 102, 127, 101, 123, 125, 806 + at least two more.
Hel. CG: AC-21, AC-22, AC-3, AC-1
T-41D 69-7192 flew (one or two more on the active apron)
SX-HFF AS.332 crossed overhead.

Five Sky scanes were seen... Anyone for the serials?
Are the stored G.164s still the same as two years ago?

Any help more than welcome of course.

Best regards, Rob.

A couple of P2002JF were seen on ADS-B in the morning of the 11th. One was seen under the sheds.

Don't the code numbers go with the fire-fighting pod, rather than the helicopter itself? However, I agree the two readable from the museum were as Jurgen has them above.

Many thanks to Sealy for adding a third registration.

Codes are irrelevant. The firefighting containers are interchangable.

Thanks guys...

So we miss only two Sky Cranes... until now.

When we drove by Tatoi we saw three T-41's on Apron H (the operational part). One was most probably 69-7192 which flew.
Later on from the museum we saw only two. So the 7192 was probably parked inside. Any one for the other two?? Most probably 82 and 99, but this needs confirmation.

The N154AC did flew on the 7th of April in Chile, so probably a misread for the N194AC?
The others are most likely the N218AC and N189AC. These made their last flight, together with the N173AC and N194AC, at Tatoi.
Number 5 is most likely the N176AC.
