Hmm, Nancy is more difficult. The local Gendarmerie will immediately sent you away when they see you. There is a Gendarmerie station 2 km further down the road which passes the runway approach lights. Even locals might report you.

Also here dont stay at the fence.

Never been there, but indeed heard that the locals find those Mirage 2000 more secret than at other Mirage 2000 fields and will act accordingly.. So low-profile is the key here.

You can park your car in a forest road at the north side, 200m east of the approach lights, out of sight.

Then walk via the main road to the lights and position yourself in the forest surrounding the field with the approach lights. You should be invisible from the gendarmerie cars passing by.
