Zagreb Pleso (LDZA) 2015 MIL

Post by De Verrekieker »

On 21-8-2015 i saw 3 Mig-21bis, 2 in grey on the ramp and one in grey/green camo on the left side of the An-32's.
one of the grey ones is the 131. the other 2 i could not read.
Of the 2 grey An-32,s. one is the 727, the other one had a cover over the nose.
Also seen PA.31P 014

Anyone for the missing serials please.

Greetz.

Hi Elvin,

AFAIK they only have (had) two An-32s, 727 and 707.
See you Saturday I guess?
Cheers,

Hello,

the topic reminded me, that I didn't posted a log from my visit to Zagrep in the beginning of August 2015 yet.
The follwoing were seen active on 01.08.2015:
131 MiG-21bisD no badge (91.ZB) (checkflight after midday)
165; 166; 167 MiG-21UMD all nb (91.ZB)
059 PC-9M no badge (93.ZB) sharkmouth and marked "50'000 hours"

The rehearsal for the parade did take place on Sunday evening, 02.08.2015:
117; 131; 134 (ground spare) MiG-21bisD all no badge (91.ZB)
165; 166; 167 MiG-21UMD all nb (91.ZB)
055; 056; 059; 062; 063; 069 PC-9M all nb (93.ZB)
* 895; 896; 897 AT-802AF all nb (93.ZB)
* 402; 403; 405 Z.242L all nb (93.ZB)
* 811; 844; 877 CL.415 all nb (93.ZB)
* 220; 223; 227 Mi-171Sh all nb (91.ZB)
The Mi-171Sh and Z.242L flew from Zagrep-Lucko while the water-bomber came from their homebase.

Monday was a reserve day and there was no activity in the evening.
However, I was later told that some MiG-21 flew in the late morning.

Tuesday, 04.08.2015, in the morning:
117; 134 MiG-21bisD all no badge (91.ZB)
165; 166; 167 MiG-21UMD all nb (91.ZB)
* 206 Mi-8MTV-1 nb (91.ZB)
Tuesday, 04.08.2015, in the evening:
first wave, 18:00
117; 131; 134 (ground spare) MiG-21bisD all no badge (91.ZB)
165 MiG-21UMD nb (91.ZB)
055; 056; 059; 062; 063; 069 PC-9M all nb (93.ZB)
second wave, 19:10
131; 132; 134; 135 MiG-21bisD all no badge (91.ZB)
165; 166; 167 (ground spare) MiG-21UMD all nb (91.ZB)
A seventh PC-9M left for Zadar after the flypast of the other six. Those returned also direct to Zadar.
I believe the seventh PC-9M was 054, but I lost my notes and am not 100% sure.
All MiG-21s were grey except 165 which is still in the red/white checkered colours.

Cujo, nice report.

Perhaps do you know which grey/green camo MiG-21bis stands near the An-32B 707?

I'm afraid, no, I have no clue.
I was interested in pictures. I saw the two stored An-32 but no camouflaged MiG-21.

I have looked at my pictures today and its actual a grey/grey camo scheme. so i search on internet and the by the looks of it the 124 should be the winner.
