Don't kow what it was but the last 10 minutes I have heard at least 4 fighters take off from Twente AB.
I also think a transporter or liner was the last to take off.

To bad we have a low cloudbase this morning. No vis id.


It didn't sound like out beloved F-16's. A bit heavier. Or an F-16 with a stronger engine.
Anybody any idea?

The IL-76 was the last one leaving from Twente. The KDC-10, which the F16's need to cross the ocean left from EHEH.

6 july at least 3 f-16's(J-251 J-253 en J-269) will move from twenthe to volkel. this would be the end of PAF at twenthe :cry: :cry:

Het staatsbezoek wordt afgesloten met een lunch op landgoed Twickel, op uitnodiging van de commissaris van de Koningin in Overijssel, Geert Jansen. Daarbij zijn vertegenwoordigers aanwezig uit de Overijsselse samenleving. Koningin Beatrix neemt afscheid van haar gasten op vliegbasis Twenthe, waar de Duitse president en zijn vrouw om 15.30 uur vertrekken.

Even erbij vermelden dat ze morgen op Rotterdam aankomen met de presidentiele A310, waarschijnlijk is dit ook het vliegtuig waarmee ze vertrekken vanaf Twenthe.
