Nederlandse F-16’s deze zomer inzetbaar in Oekraïne

Update:
21/03/2024

De Nederlandse F-16’s die door Kajsa Ollongren, minister van Defensie, aan Oekraïne zijn beloofd,
zullen komende zomer hun intrede doen in het Oekraïense leger.

Op negentien maart 2024
kwamen de Oekraïense bondgenoten tezamen in Ramstein, Duitsland
voor een bijeenkomst van de UDCG.
Hier spraken ze over de toekomst van de steun aan Oekraïne.

De Nederlandse minister van Defensie, Kajsa Ollongren,
sprak hier over het steunpakket van 350 miljoen euro
dat zij een dag later bekend maakte in de Oekraïense hoofdstad.

Oekraïne vraagt al lang om extra steun aangezien het kampt met ernstige tekorten.
Het land hoopt dat de beloofde F-16’s daar aan bij kunnen dragen.
In Kiev zei Ollongren dat de beloofde Nederlandse F-16’s aanstaande zomer inzetbaar zullen zijn in Oekraïne.

‘Ik ben er erg zeker van dat wij komende zomer de F-16’s kunnen leveren…
eerst Denemarken, en wij hebben een schema…
dus in de tweede helft van het jaar zullen de Nederlandse F-16’s deze kant op komen.’

Thanks for all the updates.

The J-014 was repaired at Leeuwarden after a birdstrike last year and returned to Volkel on the 9th of March. With the J-512 also making its first flight of this year from Volkel all 312sq airframes have been active in 2024.

Another 3 airframes were delivered from SABCA to the EFTC in Romania on the 19th of March. The 3 two-seaters were deprived from any markings except their registration and roundel. The J-882 still had its full colour roundel and outlined registration.

First proof of flying activity of the Dutch EFTC F-16's at Fetesti was on the 20th of March when the J-010 was briefly seen on ads-b above Romania.

A day later the J-144 flew from Volkel to Charleroi with a full colour 980sq 'Cluster afstoot' badge, this airframe was stored at Volkel since 2022.

Misschien niet helemaal de juiste plek (want hij is al lang niet meer operationeel), maar kan iemand bevestigen wat het lot van de J-256 is? Deze heeft bij de TU Delft dienst gedaan als instructional airframe, maar is daar al weer een aantal jaren geleden vertrokken. Verhaal was toen dat hij wat opgeknapt zou worden en dan terug zou keren, maar de Scramble database heeft hem ondertussen staan als scrapped. Het is (of was) mijn laatste nog bestaande Nederlandse F-16, vandaar....

Patrick, helaas in oktober 2021 verschroot. Het landingsgestel zit nu onder de J-616 die bij de HVV op Volkel staat.

Deze weke is de J-368 (omgeschreven als laatste F-16BM) afgeleverd aan EFTC. Wie weet de andere twee? Ik vermoed de J-067+??
