Gilze Rijen (EHGR) 22-09-'12 Historic Flight

After photographing the first take-offs and landings at Eindhoven Airbase for the Market Garden remembrance, I went to Gilze Rijen to visit the RNlAF Historic Flight. Here 's a compilation:

Fuelingpoint for the historic aircraft is about 3 kilometer away from their hangars. To save fuel, all aircraft are being towed to the fuelpoint, and back again. In total a job of aprox. 45 minutes (!). In the near future they will have their own fuelingpoint near their hangars.

This STM-2 was purchased some 8 years ago. It's flyworthy and the people of the Historic Flight are doing everything they can to get to know it good enough to display it flying during the next Airforce Days, 2013.

Hi Mike,

nice pictures!
What are the serials of the Beaver (S-9?) and the 2 Super Cubs (R-122 + R-...) from the first picture?
As I saw them over Rhenen when they flew back from Ginkelse Heide to Gilze.
