Nice pics, but they could use a bit more contrast and color saturation..

Love the pics, very nice light too - I do agree with DJ, I think with some more editing you could give them just a little bit more 'punch' and make them even better!

Is it just me or do I see quite some noise / grain in the shots?

The photo's are great, i like them when it is not you can turn off your monitorscreen

for the negative guys not everyone used a computer program like photoshop-lightroom etc. for pimp their photo's

maybe we can first send our photo's to a Scramble moderater, and when we have a go we can put it on Scramble

Cool shots !

Maybe it's too early after my night at the pub yesterday, but if I'm not mistaken the grain that Erik_7Xi is talking about looks like too much unsharp mask to me.

@ Stafhunter : I hope you don't mind me saying this, but why would it be a negative comment when DJ suggests to use a bit more contrast? I think it's cool that people are giving feedback that can help others improve their photos.

Anyway, hope to see some more shots from Cambrai before it's too late !

Grainy? Be aware I've a (only) 5 megapixels Nikon D200 camera with a dedicated Sigma 120-400mm F4,5-5,6 lens. So far away from the current 10 megapixels standard cameras.
Now concerning the contrast of the proposed pictures. Most of them were shooted with a 1/640-1/800 sec shutter speed, ISO: 160-200 and a -0,3 to -0,7 diaphram correction (to keep the image density despite the high shutter speed and my lens performances over 350mm - so over 500mm with my digital camera). The original picture JPEG files are OK. So I think it's most probably a problem of screen calibration. For post-processing and editing I use a Adoble Photoshop Element 6.0 software.
Let's have a look at one of my previous message about Cambrai, on my screen these pictures are definitely too dark and oversaturated with a little color balance problem. They're redish (see the houses' roofs) - what could be considered as OK at that period of the year, I mean in a Winter light:

As most of the "old" spotters - I take a/c pictures since 1979 - I still give priority to my slides. And they're OK 8) . That's also why I don't propose a lot of pictures of taxiing aircraft.

I think the pics from your other topic look better! The last 4 pics of this topic look a bit flat. Nevertheless some nice pictures!
