Hi,
I spent a morning on Düsseldorf last saturday. We had a couple of hours of really nice sunny weather, no spectacular visitors, but -as always- many new airframes.

1.Interesting visitor, this Las Vegas Sands Corp Tristar. It's been an while since I last saw an operational Tristar! I didn't see this old lady leave unfortunately....
Image

2.Lufthansa 737 D-ABIA still sports extra stickers of the European Song Contest where The Netherlands did extremely well bij the way....

Image

3.A regular to the locals maybe, but a new frame to me, this ex AF and CSA 737 of OrenAir.

Image

4.Summer lease or winter lease for this ex Miami, ex XL Aw, ex Miami, ex XL Aw, ex Miami.......

Image

5.Always good to see non-white colorschemes.. Niki OE-LEU came twice this day.

Image

6.Another Lufthansa "special", this Airbus D-AIQW has 100 years of Hamburg Airport markings.

Image

7.I had seen it before, but never captured on card, the ICE, or " Deutsche Bahn Air 01"

Image

8.First-timer to me on Düsseldorf, Jet4you CN-RPE, former TuiFly D-AHFJ.

Image

9.Only delivered little under two months ago, Aeroflot VQ-BIV was new to me too.

Image

10.To me still ''the mother of all airbuses'', the A-310, in this case former Turkish THY F-OJHI, now flying with Mahan.

Image

Another new airframe, delivered april 19 this year, and looking really sharp in these colors if you ask me, D-ASTA of Germania. (I know, quite white, but somehow it looks just right to me)

11.Image
I have never drunk milk, and I never will . . . .

Nice pics! And I'd call a TriStar quite a spectacular visitor nowadays ;)

Hi,

I like the picture of the Niki Airbus A320, OE-LEU. :D
That is the plane I flew with last Saturday 28th of May 2011 to Vienne, Austria.
On the way back from Vienna to Dusseldorf we flew with Niki Airbus A320 OE-LEG.
Niki was doing the flight on behalf of Air Berlin.
It was a nice surprice to fly with Niki.

Bye Werner
