Yesterday, Finmeccanica organized a small airshow.
The airshow was held on Venegono airport, shared between Aermacchi (which builds its trainers there) and the local flying club.
There should have been almost all the flying machines built by Finmeccanica companies (Aermacchi, AgustaWestland and Alenia Aeronautica), unfortunately the Eurofighter Typhoon and the Bell-Agusta BA609 tilt rotor were not present due to various problems.
The weather was also very bad, so some photos may be dark/grainy/blurry.
The show was opened by a motor paragliders team, the "Team Paramotoristi Audaci":
Then 2 Cessna C172s of Aeroclub Varese, the local flying club, made some passes:
Francesco Fornabaio's exhibition with its Extra 300:
AgustaWestland AW139:
The spectacular performance of the C-27J Spartan, unfortunately when it performed rolls it was too far, so no photos of a cargo plane flying inverted
Aermacchi M-346:
And, closing the show, Frecce Tricolori:
