Hello everybody,
hereby my first pictures from my two-day stay at Heathrow. Both days they were on Eastern operations, which meant 09L being used for landings and 09R for take-off. One advantage for Eastern operations is that they don't switch runways during the day, so I didn't have to move and could continue shooting landings. Spotting was done from a field next to Stanwell Moore Road, near Terminal 5 and the M25.
My pictures don't include the many, many BA's, American, Delta, Air Canada (well, B767's) and Virgin. But if somebody insists...
First off, a BA though, this special Oneworld-logojet:
Next was Air New Zealand with this B777-300. I miss those swooshes on the fuselage, this is just to white:
MEA A330:
Nice colored B777-200 from Air India:
Transaero is operating two flights a day to Heathrow, this was the first one:
Air Canada can also be seen a lot, mainly with B767's, but also with the A330:
BA is now also operating the B777-300:
Air Canada is also using the extra long Triple Seven. I just can't warm to these toothpaste-colors...:
Next up was this great looking Etihad A340-600:
Nice little Star Alliance logo-jet from Contact Air:
Another B777-300, this time from Qatar:
And another one, from Egyptair:
El Al used a B777-200 today:
Biggie Cyprus:
Smaller B777-200 from Air New Zealand:
Skyteam logojet B767-400 from Delta:
Very nice to catch this A310 from Biman:
Hey, another B777-300... I catched this PIA at Manchester earlier in the week as well:
Very good looking Royal Jordanian A330:
TAM is also sending their B777-300's to Heathrow:
As is Singapore:
And ANA:
Gulf Air is still operating some of these good looking A340-200's:
Happy to catch the Aer Lingus retro:
Wait... What's that? Another B777-300? This one from JAL:
The Metropolitan flew nicely by with one of their EC-145's:
Really good to catch something different than a B747 from China Airlines:
Saudia uses the B777-200 to Heathrow:
Special stickered B777-200 from BA:
The second Transaero of the day:
Korean Air is sponsoring the British Museum, hence the stickers on this Jumbo:
Extra long A340 from Qatar on finals:
Light was getting a little tricky, but there were still some nice ones expected, like this Kingfisher A330:
And this Air China A330:
Last photo's were two B777's. First this B777-200 from Asiana:
And the day ended with, another, B777-300, this one from Jet Airways:
Hope you liked them!
Cheers!
