Post by tonjochems »

Fall holidays... again to AYT.. Despite a family holiday.... a few hours off to the airport..
Traffic slowed down by 50% compared to SEPT. Russians still there but all based aircraft of UT Air, Orenair, I-Fly were gone. Russians were still operating but in smaller numbers. Transaero still operates 4 daily 747 flights, 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. Donavia and Atlant Soyuz IL86 still operating..

So this is that time of the year where you can get away with some beatifull blue skies and Russians at AYT. I checked the airport timetable on some day in early October and it seemed like there were a lot of Russian airlines operating to AYT. I guess that end of September and early October are great for the weather. I really like those inicial Transaero B747 with that dark blue sky :worship:

Another excellent set of photos. Thank you so much.

Nice shots Ton. Envy you that deep blue sky and the ramp access.
Will visit you in spring by the way. Will get in touch once dates are set.
