ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

People, people, settle down. :)
What I meant was "wat zonde" indeed. I was also under the impression that this was the meanimg of those words. I now know it isn't, an other thing learned today. :)

I don't think that you need expensive equipment to make great shots. Never implied that either.
i simply ment to say that the compression ratio apllied to these images is too high. I assume this is'nt an equipment problem, but a post processing issue, that can be corrected.
I'll try to be more specific in the future, and some of you shouldn't jump to premature conclusions and start a flame war. We are all 'friends' here with a similar intetest in aviation, don't ever forget that when reading any (of my) posts here. :)

And finally no, I don't think that my shots are always, great, fantastic, etc. I do always welcome comments on any pics I upload here. Positive and negative. Feel free to leave any. :)

+1 on your comment Derice!

Nobody wants to flame people, just keep posting your pictures if you want to show them, but you can expect people to react or comment on them because there out in the open.

@der.vogt Tell us how you post processed your shots and we will be able to identify where you have a faulty setting applied (because that is what it is, nothing wrong with your equipment :)

all pictures have been postprocessed in Lightroom with maximum Quality settings in regards to JPG compression (so:minimum jpeg compression settings).The filesize gets reduced by resizing the images and making the standard cropping which is anyway needed.

I have found the "bad guy" in the middle, it must be my CMS which is compressing the pictures after uploading it to the CMS (CMS is Dotnetnuke), but I have not yet found a way to tell Dotnetnuke to switch off that compression while uploading the images :(

Hoe- wel de stewardessen iedereen maanden om rustig te blijven zitten, stonden pas- sagiers op en begonnen in de bagagevak- ken te graaien. En toen kwam passagier Kees, als technicus werkzaam bij de KLM. ,,Hij was heel rustig en legde uit wat er moest gebeuren. Hij zorgde er voor dat iedereen ging zitten en rij voor rij naar buiten ging. Hij spreidde zijn ar- men uit om de anderen tegen te hou- den.’’
Dochter Ines was overstuur en zei dat ze nooit meer wilde vliegen, dochter Me- rel was alleen teleurgesteld dat ze het toestel niet uitgingen met een opblaasg- lijbaan, maar gewoon met een verrijdba-
re trap. Buiten kregen alle kinderen met- een een traumabeer van het Wereldna- tuurfonds in handen gedrukt.
Daarna was er gewoon de rit naar huis, zij het zonder bagage want die komt mor- gen pas. En het wonderlijkste: thuis op Ameland hoorde Karin dat haar zus Wies had gebeld. Ook zij was met haar gezin op vakantie in Turkije en had daar ver- traging, omdat er in Nederland een vlieg- tuig naast de landingsbaan terecht was gekomen.
Ook Harmen Haijma en zijn vrouw Alie uit Stiens zaten in het vliegtuig. ,,Earst wie elkenien hiel stil in de fleanmasjine. Mûsstil. Doe folge applaus”, vertelt Hai- jma.
Tijdens de vlucht verliep alles voor- spoedig, maar toen kwam de landing. ,,Ik
siet by it raam by de fleugel en koe alles sjen. Ik seach de fleugel triljen en doe wie der ynienen allegear wetter en blubber en in lûd! Unfoarstelbar.”
Het vliegtuig kwam met een oorverdo- vend kabaal tot stilstand, maar niemand raakte in paniek. Het verbaasde Haijma wel dat het niet de stewardessen of de piloten waren die de leiding op zich na- men na de mislukte landing, maar een passagier. ,,Hy pakte fuort de mikrofoan en lei de prosedueres út. No, doe is el- kenien hiel rêstich ien foar ien fia de needtrap de fleanmasjine út gien.”
Hoewel het natuurlijk even schrikken was, hebben de Haijma’s geen angst om een volgende keer weer in het vliegtuig te stappen. ,,Nee hear, binst mâl. Dêr bin- ne wy fierstente nochteren foar.”

I think I have found the fault....it was my CMS which compressed the pictures to an unacceptable grade. After exchanging the Gallery module and re-uploading all images with then adjustable settings makes a difference, see yourself, that is for me acceptable compressed and download size reduced, the balance you have to make when you have chosen to operate a homeserver on a DSL Line....not too bad or :?: :!:

Next time try the Van Dale dictionary. There is nothing wrong with the first translation.
