I understand what you mean with off-season. Thursday was a bad day. Now it is early up season. My plan was to go early next weekend. Hopefully with wind from the north .

If you see some a mad man on a bike it is my.

And about the picture very nice clouds + engine heat! That makes this HV picture better than the average HV pictures.

WOW!!

Impressive! Just the first picture had been enough already... The second one is indeed awesome too.
The background is just very interesting with patterns of the clouds! Stunning. :worship:

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.

People may say: It's too far away, I can't read the rego, etc. etc...
But I love this stuff, where the surroundings play an important role in the photo. I hope you like aswell.

PS, Martijn: crackings shots! I haven't tried 24 morning takeoffs yet, but I know mine will never come out as crispy as that. Awesome!

Edit, here's another...

I Agree with you! Altough the rego is PH-MCP, you knew it! So that's the most important for those people who start gibbering!

Very good photo! Love the composition.

Kind regards, Jeffrey.

BTW... Has anyone tried the HDR-toning function in Photoshop CS5 yet? It's fantastic!

I think ( matter of taste ) the result is a bit overdone, should be somewhere in the middle.

The KLM mD-11 is the best shot :good:

The HDR-toning shot was just a quick example. There are a zillion sliders and settings. But it's got some great possebilities, much better than the shadow/highlight feature I think. But I need to play with it a bit more to fully understand the feature. :)
