Amsterdam (AMS/EHAM) 18/05/2010

Post by Aircolours »

Hi all,

Got up early to get some sunrise pics, but unfortunately not much traffic around that time (05.42lt). I got one Transavia 737 just before sunrise with some vortexes (one of two Transavia aircraft landing at that time) and only one sunrise shot of a Continental 757-200W with vortexes (registrations anyone??) :x . Hopefully more traffic next time.... :)

brgds, Peter

Vortexes are not a must for me! I like number to the most and is for me a winner. But you don't have more pictures but than without vortexes.

Hi,

Normaly i upload the photos with http://www.tinypic.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but know i did it with http://www.imageshack.us" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for the first time.
Reason for this is that Tinypic only has the 1024 size and Imageshack has bigger sizes.
The photos below are 1280.

( note: i use the Samsung WB500 camera with 10,2mp and 10x optical zoom.
the photos are straigth out of the cam and no PS or lightroom)

3: B-18208 China Airlines standing @ the J-stands. ( photo is made out a driving truck )

Thats it for today.

Dag Peter,

two very nice pictures. Well done. That morning two arriving 752's of Continental, guess you took a picture of the first one.

You better send those photos up to Samsung then, this is really some great advertisement for them. Nice photos.

Hi Martijn,

Thanks, but as "my" 757 landed around 05:50 these could not be it. As I was quite certain I saw a blue-ish tail I assumed it had to be Continental. How wrong I was
"Assumption is the mother of all f***-ups" [/end quote]. Checking my photos again I could see a Kazakh flag, so it has to be an Air Astana 757. I can barely read the three letters above the cockpit but I think it was "EAS" making it P4-EAS. Maybe someone can confirm this.

Peter,

your correct. Couldn't find the flight on the 18th. Turned out to be the delayed flight of the 17th, which landed the 18th 05:56LT. Is that more correct with your time  ?
