Nice ! I love the Nellis agressor shots, and the airtakers. Well done.

Just like Patrick I'd like to know the camera / lens combination, and if you had to crop a lot. Can you share that info ?

Cheers,
Iwan

I would like to know the equipment as well, but why always the concern about cropping, when the result is like above. Like them all. A+++

When you know what lens he used and if he cropped you also know what equipment is needed for descent shots.

I love your pictures btw! Visiting Nellis in may and hopefully get some good action too :D Did you make a tripreport as well?

Hi Dennis,

Cropping is important to me, as I (probably) use different camera's than Pieter does. My EOS-5D has a 1.0x magnification, making my 400mm look like a 400mm. If Pieter uses an EOS-40D (1.6x magnification) in combination with a 400mm and a 1.4x extender, the result will look like a 900mm. And if he cropped his image to 50%, I would need 1800mm to match his result without cropping.

So yes, cropping is an issue to me.

CHeers,
Iwan

Nice combo.. I have used that lens as well.. great lens, and with converter still good enough.. Again, nice shots.. Although check you post processing technique, i see some difference in your original and final results and i think you can do better, it would make them even nicer :-)... do you have some more?
