A 'Hitec' impression at MOB Volkel

Post by Sines »

The wheather on monday and tuesday was perfect to witness the new RNLAF demo pilot 'Hitec' to exercise for the upcoming show eason. The clouds on monday gave excelent opportunities to get back lit shots.
Fortunately they Ljouwert boys did not bring the orange jet but instead the imaculate looking J-201. It looks pretty fine all cleaned up with only two black smokepods on the wings. The second day a less splendid jet flew.

Nice pics! No.... very nice Pics!
The Solo-Display looks very much the same as the display flown by "Sheik". To bad, hoped for something more spectacular. It is getting a little bit boring. As long as i can remember the show is the same, omly the last years they added flares to the show.

But hey, the best steeringmen are standing on the ground they say.... ;-)

If i remember correctly, the first year the new demo-pilot will fly the display of the last demo-pilot. The second year he makes his/her own display, wich also will be flown in the first year of the the next demo pilot.

Lol, I was watching it live. Forgot to mention that. Lets hope "sf***n**rd1" is right, and the 2nd year will be better.

I love these, a very creative view of what looks like a good display.

Thanks Stefan and Christian for that information, very interesting to know.
