Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Michael,

some serious photography here. Love all your pictures, they are simply stunning. Maybe some of the rare shots taken since Friday will be the `commercial´ shooting with thousands of people all taking the same pictures. Can you show some more of them?

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the compliment, sadly enough the weather wasn't very cooperative.

You can find some other shots on this link: http://www.touchdown-aviation.com/repor ... t-2009.php

I like Michael's pictures as well, but I do not understand your comment on the shots that are going to be made this Friday... what is wrong with enjoying your own shots, even if your friends have comparable ones?

Regards,
Stefan

Maybe because he has them already NOW and you just have to wait until next Friday????

If you have the same pictures and you don't enjoy somebody else's pictures, then I don't think you have to bother posting your own pictures on this forum.
Everybody has the same shots, you say, so why would we take a look at your shots?
In my opinion spotters in general take the same pictures, but ther are always some minor differences in light, position and editing on the PC.
So I think all pictures are unique, only the subject is the same.
BTW, I don't think you will get the same opportunity to take your pictures as Michael had yesterday!

Grtz.

Exactly the reason why I won't put pictures of events whith a lot of spotters present. Just quality time pictures/oppertunities and no airshow/spottersday postings by me :-)

Seen here up close and personal, but isn't looking as good as one would expect. When looking at that pic... However it would be a "nice" addition to the static.

But sorry to spoil your dream
