Great shots of both of you! Quick question: are all S.Etendards getting (or already having?) this single-grey colorscheme?

To the best of my knowledge (obtained at the Tiger Meet at Landivisiau), this scheme is applied only to the SEM's that are configured with the latest modifications AND are selected for service in Afghanistan. In june 2008 there were about 6-8 SEM's in this scheme. As you can see from the nose, this one has dropped quite a few (live) LGB's already... Interesting also to see the pylons inboard of the drop tanks; would anyone like to comment on the stores carried there? It definitely isn't an ATLIS target designator pod (in the picture only the r/h pylon and store are visible);

Good shots, Mudmover. It seems, though, like you blur everything but the aircraft in your photos. The blossoms in the first one look like a giant pudding. 8) You shoot at 1/1000 sec, resulting in f/8 - f/10. That would normally not create an extremely shallow depth of field.

Eric,

Thanks for your reaction, the blurring of the grass wasn't done on purpose. I only did some noise redution and sharpening. I have no idea how this happened. Maybe a little panning effect or the fact that I usually shoot with only the centre focal point activated. Or could it be a focus problem with the lens.

grtz,

Bert

Hmm, I'm thinking more of the noise reduction then. Anyway, it's not a problem of course, just something I noticed.
Nothing wrong with focus, the planes are sharp! :D
