Paris-Charles de Gaulle 01-05-2009

Post by LifelinerOne »

I went to Paris this weekend. Here the more interesting stuff taken at CDG on 01-05-2009.

I started at the mounds, near terminal 3:

Kick-off with this ultra long toothpaste tube:

Thai flew the Bangkok flight with their Star Alliance Jumbo:

Little red rocket of Myair:

Air Mediterranee:

Flying passengers during the day, packages and mail during the night:

XL's 737-800:

As the light was getting more in my face I decided to find myself a decent spot in the approach.

First nice catch was this Fokker 100:

Next was Dubrovnik:

Axis (of evil?):

Two Windjet's in succession, first an A320, than an A319:

Duo flights from Brazil:

And as last one a long Triple Seven of JAL:

Hope you like them!

I used two spotting points this day;

as mentioned, first I stood at the mounds near the RER Station. Not at the Concorde, but on the other mounds, on the other side of the staff parkinglot which lies in between.

They were landing from the east the whole weekend. I took my car from the terminal complex towards Fret 7. When driving past Fret 7, you are now on the ring road circling the whole airport. There are some small parking spots on this side where parking was allowed. I was questioned once by the army, but I had my permit, so they thought it was okay. Other people standing there without the permit were sent away, so make sure you get the permit!

Hope this helps!
