Verry nice photo´s!

I was this morning at the local gliding club, and I saw the -HHJ coming in.
When I walked that afternoon with some guys to the local snackbar, we passed the -HHJ. The complete back benches are full with electronic equipment.

Any idea on the mission of these helicopters? I can remember that 2 other helicopters where based a few months on EHHV for inspecting Oil pipes in the Northsea. Are these Helicopters doing the same?

Thanks!

I've just send the owner of the choppers an email to ask them!

Greets,
Negative! I probably saw the same guy too (if he was wearing a red jacket and a black cap on his head...)

Oh, yeah, indead.

Now I look at the photos, you were on the airside actually.

Aren´t the guys of the operations doing difficult?
Sometimes it depends on the person on the tower, some are really annoying, others don´t.

Have you also shot some glider pictures? I was not active that day, had to do some maintance on our private glider plane. We got it from a ex-member who sadly died. But the aircraft hasn´t flew for years, so we are doing mostly on sunday maintance, and are flying on saturday.
But when I walked to the snackbar with some guys, we discussed the hard wind, and some gliders really =censored= up their circuit, and came really high in. It was verry nice to see the gliders making a weird angle on base, just of the X-wind. Not the greatest weather to fly, but one of the profits is great hights on the winch (500+ m) and your spoilers are verry effective on final.
I flew saturday, and that was a verry NICE day. Some wind, so you came 350+ m from the winch, pretty strong thermals, but it was gone in a second round 15.30. :( But still a great day to fly!
