Hornets in a cold day at Meiringen

Post by Hornet »

Hi everyone !

Some pictures at Meiringen on 30.10.08.

Waiting the Rafale (on evaluation in switzerland for the F-5 Tiger II
replacement) all the day long, the flight was finally canceled, due to bad
weather conditions. :?

There was an opportunity to shoot in an amazing atmosphere... ! :D

Image

The tiger is alive ! :D

Hi Hornet,

a beautiful white landscape with nice aircraft. I especially like the first one and the sharp action (blurb) of the Aloutte III. Very well done :!: .

.... perhaps time to visit Meiringen myself one day.

Grtz,

Edward.

Nice pics, is it still driveable around there? Or does one need snowchains already...

Yes it's ok !

theoretically, you don't need snowchains, the roads are well-kept and free of snow !

But at this season, you would better get a car equiped with "snow tires",
it's more safe !

I guess you had some difficult light conditions there in the valley. Still these pictures are very nice, well done.
