Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

ESSA, Arlanda Spottersday 30/10/08

Hej hej,

Last Thursday there was a day of spotting at Arlanda, with the Swedish G-Kraft aviation society. We were with around 10 people and started at 7am. First up was the approach at rwy 01R. It was cold and foggy so there was a lot of condensation and contrails. Though it was overcasted, the sunrise gave a nice colour in the sky.

It remained grey and cold the rest of the day, so it became a bad-weather shoot. With quite nice results actually! Before lunch the take-off at rwy 01L and later rwy 08 was also visited.

After lunch it was landing again at rwy 01L untill around 16:00 as from that moment it started to blow and rain quite much...

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.

We (or at least I) do! Especially #2 . Love that one, you caught the atmosphere of that photo perfect!

Excellent with Pics from good old Arlanda. A shame it was a dull day now that you were all there.

Do you by any chance have an idea of how many Sterling sit upthere in total and the rego´s?

We have 11 at CPH, 2 at Aalborg and 4 at Billund!
