ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Nice PC-7 overview from the roof terrace. Nice pics from a nice base. Was there some years ago. No fighters on static or that loverly Mirage III?

Good shots indeed, but they look a bit too overexposed or too light to me. Is it my screen or are a bit too bright??
http://WWW.FVPHOTO.NL/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; --- Check out my photos of this spotting season on my website!

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.

A few from me - concentrating mainly on the wonderful scenery - but there are a few aircraft in there as well

By special request - a Mirage photo

Image

Right up to date with the PC-21

Image

Some more nostalgia with the vampire

Image

My own personal favourite - just because of the backdrop

Image

Yes, there were some fighters on the static but they were in shelters or hangars
Image

But really they want to fly

Image

A quick bit of civil (but it just might be ex-mil)

Image

A perfect line up of PC-7s 8)

Image

Plenty of opportunity to view F-5s

Image

We couldn't forget the humble PC-6

Image

It really wouldn't be Switzerland without an Alouette though -this one was displyed in the hangar minus its rotors, in a rather hi-viz colour sheme.

Image

And finally.... anyone who thought their car was safe in Switzerland, should take a look at this F-18. He only left it for an hour and when he got back, the wheels had gone!

Image

I hope you enjoyed the photos as much as I enjoyed my weekend in Switzerland. Many thanks to all the people at the base who made it possible. 8)
