Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Hi guys,

Loads of nice pics over here! I've never seen that Atlantic before. Can anybody tell me anything about it?

Thank's!

Thank's a lot. Nice to know. I guess it won't fly again?

I can read too. However; some of the planes in "het Aviodrome" are on display in the museum and can fly too...

Just one difference: at Lelystad there is an active airfield, at Soesterberg that's something different when the new museum will be open.

Adam killing time in the morning:
Image

A scene we've seen before...
Image

First take-off for the Brit, after the Dakota and the Mitchell the only one that came up above the trees..
Image

Second take-off for the Dakota/Skytrain, now it was nice and high
Image

One of the triplets making a low pass before entering a left pattern to only JUST making it to the runway after a late and wide turn to short final..
Image

Second takeoff for the Brit
Image

Nice lineup, as if we had our own USAFE squadron again...
Image

Landing of the ZH879 as seen from the Kwantum, a nice ending of a good day of spotting and the last Market Garden at Soesterberg....
