Moscow Vnukovo spotting (beware 14 MB)

Post by EC »

Together with accomplice RV from AadR I spend the last days of August in Moscow.
We treated ourselves to an unorganised tour of the Moscow airports. Apart from the weather,
we had a very good time, first in the landing and the next day at the fence of Vnukovo airport.

Here are some of the results:

The russian spotters are still speculating why the guy on the tail seem to want to leave the plane on a flying carpet

Vnukovo is the home base for Rossia and SkyExpress. Other frequent visitors are UTair, KMV, Yakutia and Vladivostok Avia.
This is also the Bizz jet airport for Moscow. On each day some 40 bizz jets were seen flying.
There are 2 dedicated bizz jet platforms and a seperate terminal.

Kind regards

A nice report, I like these pics, especially the take-offs!

With interesting planes in the background.

:shocked!:
Just great these pictures, I don't know what else to say!
But how is spotting there? Can you just stay all day at the fence without problems?

Can someone please send me a new keyboard. I kind of drooled all over mine...

Great pics! Too bad you have to get a visa for Russia, life would be so much easier without it...
