In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

World Aviation Movements went from sunday 25 may untill tuesday 27 may 2008 to watch the arrival of the participants. Also some rehearsels were seen. Enjoy

Arrival of 07-4634 C-130J 463rd AG on Sunday 25 May

Arrival of 2552/EC EC725 EH01.067 on Monday 26 May. Fortunately the showcode H402 was not added yet.

Also arriving on Monday was this Rafale B, 327/7-HZ

The Hungarian Hind and Gripen were supported by this Antonov 26, 406, on monday 25 May

As said before, the Jas-39D Gripen (42) arrival on monday

On tuesday morning I was suprised (and the organization as well) by the arrival of two instead of 1 Aviano Falcons.

On monday we saw the display rehearsal of the sunday arrived C-17A 96-0006 " Spirit of Berlin"

One of the ILA 2008 highlights was the presence of no less than 8 Dhruv helicopters form India. 5 of them were part of Team Serang, that started their European tour at ILA 2008:

The horizon is tilting to the right in the aviation movements world. But I like a lot of these shots, especially the Indians (because of your compostions).

Thanks for the compliments Eric,

I know some pictures are not leveled at the moment, still have to do some photshopping but as I have not much time this period and don't want to share them too late, I accept that they are not leveled completly for now.

Hiya Dennis,

First i'd like to state that it's refreshing to see a topic with photo-highlights. (not just 30+ pics from one airport...)

Was wondering if the 'close-up' photos have been cropped that way (wings / props cut off) or photographed that way ?

Thanks Chris,

It are indeed highlights only, as I made more than 900 pictures in 3 days. The only ones that are heavily cropped are the Rafale's. F-15C for example is original and was parked right in front of me (about 3 or 4 meters). All other pictures are cropped as well but minimal 90%.

Like the closeups, and thanks for the info in the other topic about the ILA, it helped getting there early. My own shots are in another topic (ILA Berlin 2008).
