Mi-2 and MiG-21 preserved at Niedersfeld

Post by maurits »

Hi,

During my long weekend stay in Sauerland, Germany I ve catch these two nice birds at the ''Kartbahn'' in Niedersfeld close to Winterberg.
The ex Polish AF Mi-2URP 4404 in red/yel/blue colors recently arrived. The MiG-21UM in olive green colors without serial but with Winterberg.de markings is former 23+83/ 266 NVA.

Hi Otger,

That's strange, my pics are real not photoshopped!!!
I ve send you some on the 12th May....

This means that the Mi-2 just delivered and the people from the Kartbahn don't like the (original)colors and serial. Last year the MiG was also after delivering repainted int the green olive color without serial.......

Maurits

Hi,

Here some detail pics of the red/blue/yellow Mi-2 4404 as seen on Sunday 11 May 2008. It is still strange that this small chopper was brought from storage in Poland to Niedersfeld probably in this colors and repainted now in two weeks in all red!
