Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

EHRD 23-04-08

went this morning to RTM when I realized that on the normal spots I would have backlight. Besides this and the fact of the already taxiing BAe I decided to try out a new spot at the ambulance area with the following shots as the result.

Really strange things under the RH wing of the BAe146, so lets google FAAM:
FAAM is the result of a collaboration between the Met Office(TM) and the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and has been established as part of the National Centre for Atmospheric Sciences (NCAS) to provide an aircraft measurement platform for use by all the UK atmospheric research community on campaigns throughout the world. The modified BAE 146 aircraft is owned by BAE Systems and operated for them by Directflight. The Home Base is at Cranfield University, Bedfordshire.

Applications

Radiative transfer studies in clear and cloudy air
Tropospheric chemistry measurements
Cloud physics and dynamic studies
Dynamics of mesoscale weather systems
Boundary layer and turbulence studies
Remote sensing: verification of ground based instruments
Satellite ground truth: radiometric measurements and winds
Satellite instrument test-bed
Campaigns in the UK and abroad

So that makes sense!

Nice picture of lifeliner2, the pics of the bae146 are a bit unsharp ( too much crop? Too much heatwave? )

greetings!
Greetings,

My visit @ EHRD

Post by PiPoServisAir »

Hello visit Rotterdam 2day, first of all to get my won ticket for the cup finale next sunday :D.

And i was thinking ok lets go to Zestienhoven. I also hear that around 16:30 a A330 was coming in, but was delayed until 22:00 (air side told me) so i only take a couple of shoots from panorama deck.

No, they were filling up the plane with petrol while the passengers were boarding, if I saw it right. So that's the reason for the fire engine.
