In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Just curious, it's supposed to carry code 01-1008 but I don't see it (also not on my own pictures). Is that an allocated code only?

Strange but true i needed to be sure about it too so made this picture.

Its still there if u look good and real close to the roundel.
but only the 8 is still good on this side.

And as you can see on Stephan's picture, there is a "08" in black on the nose as well, beneath the cockpit window on the lower fuselage.

Yes, now I see the black 08 is clearly visible. But the complete code next to the roundel has faded so much that i seriously doubt wether it is still used. Anway, that's details, I'm very glad with the chopper obviously :D
