Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Tokyo-Haneda 15-16 March 2023

Post by LifelinerOne »

Hej!

I also managed to squeeze in a visit to Haneda. Like many of the Japanese airports, all terminals have observation decks. The deck of Terminal 1 is best for mornings, Terminal 2 and the International Terminal best from 12:00 onwards. Especially the one on Terminal 2 is nice with the Tokyo Bay in the background.

Haneda is a busy airport but mainly sees action from ANA and JAL, with some Skymark, Starflyer, Solaseed and Air Do in the mix. Compared to six years ago, the number of international carriers isn't back at the same levels, which means a visit to Haneda could be a bit boring with all those JALs and ANAs.

Anyway, here's my selection of a morning/early afternoon, late afternoon and very early morning sessions.

1. Korean Air is using their new A321neos to Haneda. Seen here is HL8509 taxiing out to the runway for its flight back to South Korea:

2. Parked with the nose to the International Terminal was this A319CJ MM62209 of the Italian Air Force:

3. Nice special livery on this EVA Air A330-300 B-16331:

4. Those ITA Airways A350-900s like this EI-IFF sure look good!

5. Air Do's B767-300ER JA607A has a yellow Pokemon-livery on the right side:

6. And a blue one on the left side:

7. ANA has a few aircraft promoting the hentai series "Dragon Slayer". B767-300ER JA608A is one of them:

8. As is B777-200ER JA745A:

9. Solaseed's B737-800 JA809X has a promotional sticker:

10. Some Japanese bizjet action in the form of Cessna 560 JA560Y:

11. And Falcon 2000 JA16AC:

12. ANA Dragon Slayer JA608A wears a different livery on the other side of the plane:

13. Gotta love that background when shooting from Terminal 2:

15. Korean Air's Global Express HL8230 arrived in the last light of the day:

16. And I'm ending this set with a shot of ANA's special green eco livery on B787-9 JA871A:

The 16th of March album only has 2 pictures and one of them (the green ANA B787-9) you've already seen :D

Hope you liked my posts from Japan, because this was it!

Cheers!
