Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

It's really 20........
for c/n's, put a 7 in front of the registration numbers; i.e: D472 is 7472, etc
Aha OK. (my counting experience wasn't good enough …)
Thank you for the c/n info!

HI

Shoudn't that be M8...
As with all new and remanufactured US Chinook are in that range.
16-08466/08477 Boeing CH-47F Chinook Boeing Helicopter Company Model 114. MSN M8466/M.8477

souce: http://www.joebaugher.com/usaf_serials/2016.html

But I could be mixing up things here. :?

Also the Dutch ordered 14 new ones .first 12 and a year later 2. Would make sence if they are in 2 different FY and MSN blocks.

But I see that the MSN numbers are not chronically given. As the 'old' F's are 8890 and up! Are they given to specific operators? Anyone knows how they are allocated?

Sorry. Typo from my side. Should read 7601-7606, resulting in D601-D606.

Different FY for US, but same MY-contract.
