Hej everybody,

here is the impression of my last day of spotting at Hong Kong. At first I planned to go to Sha Lo Wan again, but the ferry times were not very good on this monday. As in too late in my opinion. So, I made my way to the Maintenance Area. You can reach this via bus S52, which you can catch at Cathay Pacific City or Tung Chung. When you arrive at the maintenance area, you need to walk a little back to the rocks near the sea. From here you have a good view on the approaching aircraft for runway 07L and also see the take-offs at 07R (but, you can't photograph these). At this spot you need at least a 100-400 mm lense.

All in all I can really recommend some days spotting at Hong Kong. The spots are reasonable okay and taking pictures is especially nice when on 25 operations from the observation deck thanks to the very interesting background. The large variety of airlines makes it a very interesting airport.

Now, enough talking, here is my selection of this day. As usual, you can find the link to all pictures at the end of this post.
