To be honest... I have seen more humour than expected. Role-playing was better than Duxford. I was surprised.
Two examples: Salute for British planes was superb. And a "Vietnamese" girl during American show of force was subtle but convincing:-)

How do you mean French humour?
Has the name not to do with the commander of French Yak unit Niemen Normandie in Russia during WWII, Pierre Pouyade.
For the benefit of Mr. Kite, there will be a show tonight on trampoline

Unfortunately Hurricane (the only one airworthy in France) had a landingrun incident as its homebase.
(when returning "home" that was)
Homebases lived up to its reputation, being both demanding and non-forgiving....
Sad, made two lovely demos, both Saturday and Sunday.
Pilot O.K.

:?-$: Generally I would like to seen a wee bit more action in the props in such photos. Funny perhaps, but I like really that.
Got a old (from a slide) printed SECCIV Tracker formation fly-past poster behind me here, with just that bit more prop action.
Doesn't even have to be a full disc, just enough to see a minute separation between the blades, That is ever so nice wouldn't you agree?

All in all, it seems to have been a show with a lots of nice air displays set-ups with magnificent photo oppurtunities.
Thanks for sharing.
Inspirational set of piccies. Time to go there next year

After the show, I am still wondering what show I like most: Duxford or La Ferté Alais.
To be honest, I both like them ! :-)
