In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Exercise Fearless Falcon 30 June 2014

In the past week, the exercise Fearless Falcon took place in the Twente area. This was the final exercise of Airmobile students, after which they would earn their Red Berets.
Part of an airmobile exercise is obviously a helicopter drop. Last monday the exercise started with a helicopter drop in a field just north of the former Twenthe airbase. Initially the plan was to do the drop on the airfield, but the KLu forgot to order fire brigade assistance on the airfield... Therefore they had to change the plans at the last moment and relocate to the field.
I was lucky enough to have access to the LZ, where I took the pictures below. Hope you like them.

Think that is a case of the grey paint wearing off sooner than expected; you see the primer coating...
