Interesting Whirlybird.
This Belorussian-registered Mil Mi-26 does not seem to have flown much recently...

Well i can tell you that it has flown in Januari this year, there are a few photo's circulating on the net and one is dated in januari at Thessaloníki so it seems to be active.
But nevertheless this whirleybird haven't seen much photographers in its life.
Dispite the lighting conditions it surely made my day.

Best regards ,

Jan

With Volos you mean Almiros - Nea Ankhialos? It looks like that on the pic and the Mi-26 is parked there on the ramp. Covered in red dust.

It is called Nea Ankhialos Airport (whitout Almiros) and the icao is LGVO, Volos and that is the civil side of the field and this helo is on the civil side.
So yes we are talking about the same helo.

The Mi-26 was still seen at Volos civil airport last week.
Another Mi-26 EW-330TF was parked at HAI Tanagra.
